I started my career as a dental nurse back in February 1996 gaining my NEBDN certificate in dental nursing in 1997. This was quickly followed by a postgraduate qualification in dental radiography. I have since had a varied career in dentistry assisting in implants, sedation and general dentistry, all of which I love.
I particularly enjoy helping anxious patients through their dental experience; it brings me so much joy seeing patients learn to go through treatment with ease.
At Mayhew Dental, I can be found mainly located on reception but still do some nursing on occasion.
Since joining Mayhew dental I have gained 2 new qualifications in dental reception level 3 and level 2 in patient care coordination
In my spare time I am a massive Harry Potter fan (I am a Hufflepuff) who also loves Sci-fi classics such as Dr Who and Star Trek and all things Disney.
I am a very keen reader and love nothing more than getting lost in a good story.
